You're in trouble. You'll never see a cent of that money unless you do as others have advised.
You'll need to get signed up for managed payments with ebay. Till you do that and have your bank account or whatever registered with them, ebay has nowhere to release the funds.
Forget about the payments being on hold as such. A 30 day hold is normal for sellers who haven't sold in a while.
Just worry about eventually getting the money, at least. Managed payments.
It does not matter how the buyer pays, their payment is to ebay commerce who then distribute funds (managed payments). So there is no point in specifying your preferred payment method, and payments from ebay will only be released to a verified bank account, not paypal.

·10 months agoThe fact that you asked for 'Paypal only' indicates you're not registered to sell and signed up for managed payments.
You'll need to complete verification or you won't receive your money at all

·10 months agoIndeed, the policy of funds being held (which you agreed to) really does apply
It does not matter how much you sold ‘over a year ago’
You, like all sellers who have a long break from selling will be seen as ‘new’ by eBay

·10 months agoBecause you are a "new seller" your funds will be on hold (as you agreed to when listing).
