Sold phone for "parts or not working" and now buyer wants to send it back
Summary: novaclover sold a phone listed as "for parts or not working", but the buyer now wants to return it. novaclover is likely seeking advice or solutions to this issue, but the specifics of any responses to their concern are not provided in the discussion content.
I sold a mobile phone (a samsung fold4), and selected condition as "for parts or not working" because the phone won't work when it folds open. I have been using this phone up until January 15th. It works fine but has issues when it is folded open, thats all. I specified all this in the ad description.
Now the buyer wants to return it because he says he cannot turn it on. The phone turns on, I have video evidence while wrapping it up, I turned it on and off myself. I even gave the buyer my phone number so I could talk to him and tell him how to turn it on, in my opinion, he is not pressing the right button to turn it on. He did not call for help, he has requested a refund and return. I am so annoyed ebay is allowing this and not giving me any choice.
It's so stupid, I sold a phone as "parts only or not working" and he gets to have a refund from ebay. Is there a phone number for ebay so I can speak to someone? Thanks
