I’m reaching out to request assistance with an ongoing issue I’ve been experiencing on eBay.

I began selling on eBay in late March this year, and since my first day listing items, I have not been able to access or use the Promoted Listings feature. Initially, I understood that new sellers need to meet certain performance criteria before becoming eligible, so I was patient at the start.

However, it’s now November 2, and despite having sold 182 items and generated over $5,000 in total sales, I still cannot promote any of my listings. My account has maintained 100% positive feedback, and I have consistently met all selling standards for months.

I’ve contacted eBay customer service multiple times—both weekly and monthly—since around May. Each time, I’ve had to re-explain the issue from the beginning, and every response I receive is the same: “We’ve escalated this concern; please be patient.” Unfortunately, after more than six months, there’s been no progress or resolution.

I’m posting here in hopes that someone from eBay or another seller who has experienced the same issue can provide some insight. Has anyone else encountered this problem, and if so, how did you resolve it?

I understand that not being able to promote listings isn’t catastrophic, but it does impact visibility and sales, especially when competing with promoted listings. Any guidance, clarification, or communication on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
