Why has eBay stopped their television adverting in Australia?
I found that when eBay were running their television advertisements in Australia my sales were up. Since they have stopped my sales have fallen quite dramatically. I think with all the other online selling platforms available, eBay has to keep their name out there or buyers forget about them. Does anyone else agree?

·2 years agoI don't watch TV so wouldn't know but I do recall quite regular youtube ads for Ebay. The ads were **bleep** tbh. I guy giving an office colleague a tshirt with the wrong name on it? I dunno.
I do see ebay ads all the time online though, including ads for my own items which is kinda cool 🙂

As for your sales, they appear to be regular, judging by month versus over 12 months in your feedback.

I think anyone who will 'forget' about eBay does not know about it in the first place
It's hardly a new/unique site
You'd have to ask them why they stopped advertising on telly
