Wildly incorrect international tracking info with Auspost.
A customer in the US made contact, concerned as to the whereabouts of her parcel.
The first line of tracking info stated that it was avilable for collection at my local PO where it was lodged.
Today it states that the parcel is available for collection at a PO in Los Angeles. The delivery address is in Washington DC.
BTW Auspost appears to have removed all but one contact number within their system, including for business customers and eparcel support. My issue was not on their list, as humans were not available to speak with. Now we have just the one general number for all enquiries?
OK.OK. I can work through this and gave the customer (hopefully) more accurate information by checking the USPS tracking site. The issue is more the inaccurate info provided by Auspost. Many of our customers either don't know, or don't want to know how to navigate the various tracking and delivery systems. They just want their parcel, asap. They mostly rely purely on the tracking info provided by Auspost via ebay, or complain to me, the seller.
Auspost needs to lift their game and ebay needs to remind them of this.
