A change to search option to allow buyers to search specific countries
Because of postage costs from some regions of the world, I thought it would be handy if the option to search by a specific country would make a handy search option, as well as worldwide. It also helps buyers have a more targeted approach to their search. Just my thoughts as a buyer.

These are community boards for eBay users… not boards where eBay engage with eBayers. Suggesting things here will get responses from fellow eBay users, but not from eBay staff.
But in any event, eBay’s position re user feedback isn’t encouraging.

TRANSLATION:
“We appreciate comments” and “eBay is always pleased to hear from members” = No, we don’t and aren’t. (This is just placatory fluff.)
“long-standing company policy does not allow eBay to accept or consider” … “not accepting unsolicited suggestions” = We really don’t, except when we create a specific questionnaire framed so as to get the answer we want.
You can send eBay a suggestion (there’s a link on the page I’ve referenced), and you might as well do that instead of humming “Ten green bottles”.
But I do have a practical suggestion: search using the lowest price incl postage filter rather than “best match” (which is anything but best match).

OP2 years agoThank you for your reply. Interesting that just after posting this I recieved a survey from ebay that allowed for suggestions. Weird.
