eBay is useless these days and the fees are ridiculous!
I mean seriously
The whole point of an auction to out-bid or only bid up to your budget... but now eBay allows anyone to cancel their bids anytime and as many times as they like... people just spending the whole time bidding and cancelling to test the other biding limits and gaming the system..... Good job

And some categories are worse than others. It's just a game to some of nuisances.
If you're going to continue listing auctions , expect it to get much worse in the School / Uni holidays

·9 months agoOf course you can't end your listing... you've received bids and there's less than 12 hours renaining.
It doesn't take a rocket surgeon to work that out.

·9 months agoNo it doesn't - nor does it take a rocket surgeon to comprehend what that actually means.
You've clearly had 2 bids - which is exactly why you posted here in the first place... to complain about them being retracted.

That's because you received a bid and it's within the last 12 hours.
You could have ended it if you hadn't received any bids at all but eBay still counts a cancelled bid as a bid.
Or you can end within 12 hours, if selling to the highest bidder.

eBay has always provided buyers with the option to retract bids.
They have also provided you with the option to block serial retractors.
They have also provided you with the option to list as BIN & not use auctions.

OP9 months agoNot the point, which is its become crazy and it didn't used to be regardles of when the option become available
and no i wasn't always, used to have to e-mail help desk to manually cancel
