No help or warranty after 30 days.
Don't be fooled. There is only 30 day warranty on any eBay purchases. EBay won't offer any support if your purchased product fails after 30 days and you cannot add a review of the seller after 30 days. The seller also knows that they can ignore your request for warranty after 30 days.

Unless the seller is in Australia , an express warranty is unenforceable.
Ebay has nothing to do with warranties as they are not the goods provider , they do however have a money back guarantee in place where you are protected for 30 days from delivery if an item does not meet the description or advertised functionality, fit etc

OP3 weeks agoThe seller is supposedly in Sydney and a registered seller but they hide behind eBay and refuse to repair or replace a faulty item.

Of course they are registered, they have to be to use eBay as a seller or a buyer, I said authorised seller
It has already been explained to you about warranties, which eBay have nothing to do with

·3 weeks ago@til-au2015 You are mistaking item location (an editable field in the listing which can be misleading) for seller location (country of registration which you can see by clicking onto the seller username and then clicking again to get to the About page).
Registered seller (as an eBay term) does not mean registered as an Australian business. It also doesn’t mean authorised seller.

eBay do not provide/vet/enforce warranties
No use telling others not to be fooled when you are not aware of these basics after being on eBay since 2015, it would be a good time to read the buying basics
The seller cannot offer a warranty unless they an authorised seller/reseller for the brand and registered in Australia, no matter what the 'ad says'
If they are indeed an authorised seller and registered here, contact the company the seller represents for help
But kindly do not say there is a '30 day warranty on eBay purchases' when no such warranty exists at all
