Sorry, but once again, ALL of the above is incorrect.

No final value fees are payable with Free Selling UNLESS it's an international sale

If you don't use an eBay label , there is still NO final value fee.

All a Free Seller has to do is dummy up a draft listing for an item that falls under the label exemption and you'll see for yourself > "No final value fee will be applied"

If there's been an error and you've been charged, I suggest you contact eBay and request a refund

It's very obvious that the OP's recent sales required labels.

A tip for the OP ( who has 3 items listed under the following - likewise with 11 of shoppingbag's sold items) and all Free Sellers.

Instead of listing the Item Price as $20 - label required

Reduce the item price by a few cents so it's just under $20 - no label required

With or without using a label, NO final value fee is charged unless it's an international sale

There are exceptions to buying a label (as we all/should know) and sometimes when listing these it still comes up as "buy A label" so in that case you can get the address as I have stated. You pay fees on these items, they are not fee free, so what is the big deal? If eBay wanted you to send absolutely everything with a label, then they would have made that rule. I would follow the advice of the agent, otherwise we just could not sell items that go in an envelope etc. The people who use "free selling" will know more and learn more than those who don't.

eBay make it clear that for the postage options you want, you’ll need to go onto a Pro Starter Plan. It’s like going back to how selling was before eBay introduced the free selling option. No subscription fee, just the usual FVF, and you can choose your postage options at will.

If you select "get Label" then on the right it shows "packing Label" this shows the Buyers address, you can then back out of here without printing or buying the Label.

Also not a good idea posting on a public forum that you violate policies and expect to be paid right away as people who follow those policies do, ain’t going to happen

The person you spoke to was reading from a script, they have no idea if your item was delivered on not

And, if you have not done what is required for Managed Payments, you will not be paid at all

Nobody is going to be paid faster for not liking the policy they agreed to abide by and then do their own thing instead

As long as you're registered to sell, verified with both your personal and bank account details and signed up for managed payments, the option to request a payout should be available to you after 31 days if tracking isn't uploaded. When you use an eBay label, tracking is automatically uploaded.

It won't be paid into your account automatically.

What does the Payments tab in your Seller Hub show ?

Many Free Sellers have changed to a Pro Starter account.

It's exactly the same as before June 1st.

You have your own choice of postage but will have to pay final value fees.

In fact, eBay have already made an announcement stating that if Free Sellers continue to use their own postage and not use an eBay label when applicable, they may have their account changed to a Pro Starter.
