I have not received a laptop that was posted by the only means available on the listing, and paid the $50 or so buyer protection fee to cover lost packages.
Auspost claim to have delivered it, but can't actually prove it.
The hubbed / parcelpoint approved shop are (as I've since discovered) dodgy as sin. It would appear highly likely they've nicked it.
The police have been involved and concluded the the same as the above, but without definitive proof of delivery, can't do anything else.
I'm $950 worse off. No laptop, and every time I talk to eBay they tell me "it's ok, we will cover you under buyer protection" - but then the next person I speak to it's like I'm starting all over again, and I never leave feeling like i will be!
eBay are apparently still investigating - I do not know what they are expecting to find that the police didn't.
I've been using ebay for 15 years or so, and I'm very, very concerned I'm going to be left high and dry.

·3 weeks ago · EditedWhat is the problem that is not covered by the tools you are given? (ie opening an item not received dispute or item not as described dispute?)
Why can't you contact eBay?
(And why do you need to, if you need to open a dispute, you need to do that yourself, within the time limit)
Who 'brushed you off' ?
Is this from the dodgy seller with the terrible feedback?
