The store I work for is being targeted by Ebay's ridiculously dumb AI and hundreds of listings have been taken down for "single use plastic policy violations". What sort of things? Porcelain cups, saucers and plates Stainless steel cutlery Polycarbonate ingredient/food storage containers Sugarcane/bagasse containers And here's the real kicker... Paper straws. We appeal the false violations which takes days to process. If the appeal is successful the item is made available again only for it to be taken down again within 24 hours! The customer service reps we've spoken to (over a dozen different people at this point) can see the reports are wrong and help to get items back online but once again they're taken down again because nobody is able to fix the underlying issue - the AI system checking items is fundamentally broken and shouldn't be used. Is there any hope for someone who can help seeing this post and following it through to a positive outcome?
