Hi everyone, I'm in need of some advice, since I can't reach an agent to ask directly. Basically, I'm in Australia and I'm looking at purchasing something from the US (as I do semi-regularly) but I notice the cost of shipping is well over $40AUD, so I message the seller to ask if the price of shipping is negotiable. They try to change it on their end, but neither of us can see a difference in the displayed amount. I then try to contact an agent through live chat, but I've had absolutely no luck, so I'm reaching out here. What would cause the shipping price to glitch out like that? Is it better to adjust the item costs to account for the shipping, or will it take a day or two for those changes to show? Any ideas, or is this a bug with the website itself?

Hello everyone, We're encountering an issue with our current shipping rate table configuration. While it efficiently calculates postage for multiple quantities of the same item, it incorrectly adds separate base rates for different items, leading to unexpectedly high shipping costs for our customers. Has anyone discovered a way to adjust rate tables or business policies to better support combined postage for varied item purchases? eBay mentioned that buyers can request combined postage, but this option is only accessible on the desktop version and not available on mobile devices or the app. With around 13,000 active listings on eBay, manually calculating combined shipping for each order isn't feasible for us. We believe that an automatic solution should be possible, especially since the system already combines the weight when it’s the same item. If anyone has experience with a similar setup or suggestions on the necessary shipping preference settings, I’d appreciate your insights. Hello all, I’ve been caught out with a three item order, going to post office and getting an ebay post label for one item and putting them all together and now can’t mark shipped or add tracking number to the other two. The two additional items now show as overdue on dispatch (and I have promised a refund on extra postage as well). Any suggestions on how I get these marked as shipped and close them out?

I live on chistmas island so standard postage takes 2-6 months by ship i recived my pakage today heavily damaged and cant file for a refund coz its outside of 90 days

What’s your biggest shipping headache right now? For me, it’s not always the postage cost. It’s delayed tracking updates, unclear delivery times, and customers asking, “Where is my order?” Which issue causes you the most trouble: shipping prices, courier reliability, tracking, labels, or returns?

Buyer selected pickup as the delivery method. The buyer lives on the other side of the country. I posted the item to them instead of arranging a physical pickup. The buyer has paid, but the funds are still on hold. The buyer has received the item. The buyer is unresponsive and will not provide the 6-digit pickup code needed to complete the transaction. Without the pickup code, I cannot finalise the sale. If the transaction cannot be completed, the buyer may be refunded. I would lose both the item and the money I spent on postage.

I'm unable to add tracking for some orders (not all). I'm shipping the same category of products with only some not allowing tracking to be added. I have attempted many different methods , for example the sells hub "Manage all orders" comes up with the screenshot below.

Is anyone else having issues with the HS tariff code changes in MyPost Business Australia Post portal? I sell books and I've worked around issues for most destinations, however for the UK I'm unable to enter any sort of 'book' - it comes up as dangerous goods and probibited item etc. Have not been able to come up with anything that resembles a book without getting this message. Wondered if anyone had encountered the same issue and if you have found a solution. Thanks!

So, you sell say, a $1 paper note value $12 in the shops. You have to charge the buyer the item cost and $7 post pack, $19, to get the label and get the address? No-one will pay $19 for a $12 item. It fits into an envelope, $1.70. But you can't get buyer's address without a label. So what is to stop me printing a label, pay $7, write down the address, cancel the label, $7 will be refunded in a couple of days, pop it in an envelope, pay $1.70 at Australia post?????
