I didn't want to put this in the opening post. It's so sad and I do feel some of the parents are so much to blame for the sad state that their children have found themselves in.

The aging thing was horrifying for the younger ones.

Why did they have to put in that endorsement for Natures way the way they did. It was so obviously a paid advertisement. Oh look. There is some krill oil. What is that? Oh, I think it is six times more potent than fish oil. Derrrrrrr.

It was funny about Katy wanting to get dirty with the commando.

I missed it because I can only tape two shows at once and I am watching The Block and MKR 🙂

However, once The Block is over this week I will switch to it. I had best try and see a catch up episode.

I hope this series is more about healthy lifestyle and not competitions trying to make the contestants fail.

I'm loosely watching it....

Which means in my world that its on tv... No one can change the channel.... But I am doing my nightly chores like cleaning the kitchen, making school lunches, ironing uniforms, dealing with the baby.... Whatever im doing doesn't stop for the show.

i thought the first ep was disappointing, they should've done weigh ins straight up not in 2nd show, they didnt come close to MKR in the ratings I heard, which is a surprise for a season premiere.

I'm watching it as I always do each year............the chance to see the Commando rip his shirt off is just too tempting!

I too, was a bit disappointed with how it was set up this year, but nevertheless it still made me cry when they told their stories.

Jumping off that 10 metre cliff..........I would have hesitated too, I hate heights and I felt for that mum in the grey who took so long before making the jump. The sight of Commando ripping off his shirt and jumping might have enticed me to follow though. 🙂

Last night when the girl in pink said that her mum was a hypocrite for wanting her to lose weight without doing anything about her own weight issues made me a little angry. I could see the girls point, but then I could look at it from a mums point as well. That was hurtful.

Couldn't believe it when the young lad in black [with the ear stretcher thing] said that his excess weight didn't stop him from living his life and doing what he wanted to do!! He was eating those words not long later when Commando picked him to work out in the sand, and when he saw a projected image of himself in the future if he kept up with what he was doing.

I like the new house.......is it the original white house from earlier series or another?

Glad Tiff isn't there this year. I didn't think much of her ninja approach.

I'm sure there must be other contestants somewhere, just waiting for their chance to be in the house, perhaps after an elimination or two.

It's very difficult with The Block, My Kitchen Rules and now Biggest Loser all on around the same timeslots. I watch a bit of The Block, then switch to Biggest Loser, and flick to My Kitchen Rules during the ads.

You are so right Golden 😄 The commando has become a bit of a star of the show. It was very funny in the opening episode and seeing the reaction of one of the daughters (Katie I think) when the commando gave her a hug.

I had forgotten about Tiff and I agree with you. Her training approach just didn't seem to work for the show, in my opinion.

I hope Brett and Mandy do really well. It's a bit early to pick a favourite but they just seem like such a lovely mother and son and he is the heaviest contestant.

I'm watching this year with my daughter. She didn't watch Master Chef with me but wants to watch The biggest Loser.

I felt so sad for girls when they had to watch their future self yesterday. But it might be something they needed to be determined to go through hard training.

My daughter and I think the 15 years old boy is very cute. I hope he will do well.

I wonder how long ago the show was made. I saw a young fella in Dubbo yesterday that looked a lot like one of the lads off the show.

Poor Cher and Kevin. The show has just finished in Perth. The first team members did very well but the new ones need to be there so much more. It was so sad 😞
