i have that option ticked but it keeps taking me to the first page of threads.

Being able to place boring text-line repeated ad nauseum "siggies" on "ignore" is an absolute positive, as is the availability of HTML.
However, whilst being able to "edit" at a later date is admirable, I have found over years of posting on CW/CS, that there are some contributors who are not concerned with accuracy (truth?), and thus might even change a post to make following replies appear "odd", or would possibly be tempted to correct their "definitive" assertions when they are pointed out. to be less than correct.
Time will tell!
