I don't wax, I use an epilady, same deal it pulls the hair out from the root. This only needs doing every 4-6 weeks where as shaving needs to be done every 2-4 days, plus the hair grows back weaker after waxing/epilating reducing the growing in time.
Monman if your asking why we remove the hair, personal choice but I think it looks and feels nicer.

If the emphasis is on wax as opposed to other depilatory methods, it has the advantage that when you are old, wrinkled and demented in a nursing home at least you will have smooth legs! (as long as you began young enough)

Wax my face? What do you think I am? . . some sort of person who cares more about the image I project than the pain I would suffer?

Barbie dolls never did attract me. Eye candy, sure . . but I wouldn't want to get close enough to view the stubble under all that grease paint.

My ex waxes his eyebrows every few months.
