On the (Sydney) traffic report this morning:

blah blah blah..."and at Revesby the lights are down on the River Road near Uranus"

I'm like...HUH?! Omg did he really say that? Was that a trick auto-cue?

He said it again in the next traffic report, just before the news.

When I got to work I googled the River Road near Uranus. Sure enough:

there is such a place

Fancy having to tell people your address

I wonder if they got some uni students to name that road after a long smoko break and they were off the planet

I see there are some other roads named after planets in the vicinity.

What gets me is some guy hovering over a traffic jam in a helicopter and reporting it on a TV news program.How does that help someone in a car on their way home from work?

I suppose if they are not lready stuck in the traffice jam it gives them the chance to take a different route - and cause another jam somewhere else.
