So Who Is The Murderer.

Broadchurch : anyone watching this and who do you think killed Danny Latimer? My money is on the woman detective's husband - I have no idea what his motive might have been, it's just a gut feeling.

Who is the murderer??

That question is driving me crazy and I need the answer now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am wishing my life away just to get to Friday night.

This would have to be one of the worst shows for me and my lack of ability to wait for the next episode.

There are so many I could point the finger at, but there is something about the one who is Pauline Quirk's son in the show, but then it could be the priest maybe?

Bells rang for me when, after Susan's past was revealed, Ellie said to her 'how could you live with someone all that time and not know?' It seemed like the sort of question designed to come back and bite her.

Yep, I agree. Almost everyone else has been eliminated and the boy has been hiding something all along. First thing he did when he heard was delete something from his phone.

It was the butler, in the toilet, with a frozen salami. the salami was later thawed out and served up to all the guests.

Simple to solve that.

I think you are right - I picked up that too.
The detective's son is involved too but no idea what the motive is....drug courier-ing maybe? The husband used to be an ambo I think.

My feelings, also. The writers haven't wasted a word thus far, yet they have Ellie - who appears to be sensitive person - ask Susan how could she not have known what was going on in her own house. Young Tom has known a lot that he shouldn't from the very beginning and destroyed evidence, so could be protecting his father.

Don't you dare tell us!

Another reason I suspect Ellie's husband is that he and Nigel are both tall, bald, and of roughly similar build, so although .Susan was adamant it was Nigel she saw on the beach, she could well have mistaken one for the other, in the dark.

Also, the priest said he had informed' both sets of parents' about the fight between Danny and Tom, but Ellie insisted she didn't know they'd quarreled, so maybe her husband was told but didn't bother to let her know.

There is also the old saying ' pick the person who has no real purpose in the story, eliminate the red herrings (like the psychic guy, Sharon, her son and the newsagent guy) and the one left is probably the murderer'.......when you think about it, apart from a child minding role while Ellie is being a cop, her husband is sort of redundant to the story line - unless he is the murderer
