On google it says she was married, but the marriage failed. She is now dating someone.

She decided not to have children because of the stress it would put on her heart.

Yes, I googled but they don't say who she married.

I thought she married that Jim Byrnes, the guy Jackie Love was married to.

Well, if she did marry him, I cant find it anywhere on google.

I tried who did she marry. what was his name, name of husband.....but nothing came up..

Jim Byrnes doesnt ring a bell name wise for me..

Fiona Coote became Australia's youngest, and most famous, heart transplant recipient when she underwent surgery at the age of 14 on 8 April 1984.

I hadn't thought of Fiona Coote for years then yesterday at the garden centre saw she had a rose 'Fiona's Wish'. Very pretty red and yellow and scented.

She was an amazing young lady, so brave and accepting of her condition. Yes, she has a beautiful rose named after her EM. She avoids publicity, she was to star in A Country Practice, but decided the publicity that would evoke was something she didn't want.

Yes sandy she did, the first she rejected, so she received her 2nd heart - Dr. Victor Chang was the surgeon.

You are right. I should have used the term 'anti-rejection drugs', which are more severe than just steroids. Especially when started at puberty, or earlier.
