P7, direct cause and effect are not variable with respect to time, thus with a few variables (like population density) you will find that bushfire ignition causes today will not differ drastically from those of the ABS 2004 research/figures.

"Bushfires can originate from both human activity and natural causes with lightning the predominant natural source, accounting for about half of all ignitions in Australia. Fires of human origin currently account for the remainder and are classified as accidental or deliberate. Fires lit deliberately can be the result of arson or designed to achieve a beneficial outcome but experience sudden adverse weather conditions which results in their uncontrollable spread. Unfortunately deliberate and accidentally lit fires are more prevalent near populated areas."

"what constitutes an "Agricultural Escape" I have no idea P7, so enlighten me.

Power lines problems causing fires can not be classed as lightning P7, Look up the cause of lightning, it has not changed since 2004, (or ever) and thus is not out of date.

P7: "ref. chemtrailing I posted earlier that chemtrails are not imaginery....before this I have posted many web sites on chemtrails and HAARP/DARPA."
The trails are standard contrails, if you want to spray people withchemicals you would not do it openly (over your head ???) and at 30,000 feet for all to see.

Post some reliable references, of the same calibre as the ABS, CSIRO, BOM, I will take them from any period even 2004.

Why not discuss the basic physics/science/aeronautical factors involved? Lets start with spray ejection hardware required, and how it might be utilised at high altitude.

HAARP, again some reliable scientific sites P7, as you appear to have no grasp of ionospheric communications

P7: "You are such a knowledgeable chap/chapette - who am I to argue with you?!!....I mean you even refute what I see with my own eyes every day in my skies where I am."

With regard to this debate I do have some knowledge P7 and can discuss it directly, you on the other hand are welcome to state your case using reliable/credible, non nutter, references, post some, better still, produce some photographs here of "what you see with your own eyes every day in my skies where I am."

P7, do you take precautions so that the evil chemicals in your skies (above your head) every day will not affect you? I have read that these chemicals produce paranoid fears/beliefs in organised conspiracies. We have a member here

who thinks (imagines) like yourself, so I found him some suitable protective clothing which I now recommend for yourself.

P7 Homework:

Reliable/credible/scientific references
Photographs of "them" above your head
Definition of lightning
Explanation (yours?) of "Agricultural Escape"

nɥºɾ

no. there's always someone yelling 'fuel reduction' etc . or people who insist that increases in the numbers of extreme weather events isn't related to climate change..

The effects of bushfires are not all detrimental to the environment, as fire generates regrowth and new life. In some eucalypt species, for example, fire is an essential part of the life cycle. For these plants, fire splits open seed pods, allowing them to germinate. Without fire, these species are unable to reproduce. Fire also encourages the growth of new grassland plants.

joz...

But temperature change itself isn't the most severe effect of changing climate.

Changes to precipitation patterns and sea level are likely to have much greater human impact than the higher temperatures alone.

For this reason, scientific research on climate change encompasses far more than surface temperature change. So "global climate change" is the more scientifically accurate term. Like the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, we've chosen to emphasize global climate change on this website, and not global warming.

http://www.nasa.gov/topics/earth/features/climate_by_any_other_name.html
