Cheapest internet + landline?

we are with westnet and pay almost $80 per month.

we do 1 call or so per month on the landline, we have it just so we have a phone number.

is there a cheaper option?

no mobiles or fancy stuff involved.

im paying 59 dollars a month for heaps of internet juice and the landline phone is bundled in (voip set up) through iinet

im the same, i hardly use the landline and i think i can even do better then my plan

i vaguely recall seeing an ad on tv, $30 a month unlimed internet

& i reckon if i went through telstra landline phone it would work out cheaper

yeah, but we used too much internet so we had to upgrade to the almost $ 80 one.

you can get unlimited internet and voip for $59 a month thru them

i havent upgarded to that plan - im still paying $59 a month for 50/50 gigs and voip

if i upgraded which still costs the same, it would mean a 2 year plan and i'd have to pay a fee if i want to disconnect before then

sorry thats 100 gigs full time (not unlimitied) and voip, which can be had at iinet for $59 a month

Hey Joz.

It's a thing you plug into your computer port and a phone into that. Of course you need internet service and if it's anything like it is here, most just get a bundled service. Soon I'll be signing up for a service, just under $100 a month...unlimited phone, high speen internet, and cable TV.

Close to a 1,000 channels of which I'd filter out 900 of them. 10 Premium channels (no commercials)

in the vid he said it can be used in other countries other then U.S

if its compatible to oz, i'll definitely look into it

he said you need at least a router that must mean a net connection, not sure

i.i net bought westnet about ?4 years ago. I like them because their call centre is in Australia, and they are so helpful.

yes i cant complain about their service at all

actually theyre great

back as a noob they were very helpful to me even though it wasnt connection related

reckon they saved me heaps on techo bills, lol (i can fend for myself now)

it is 69.99- per month

this icludes unlimited interent +home phone bundle

all calls to 13 and 1300 numbers are free

all national calls are free

all local calls are free

been using it for 16 months

use to have telstra which was expensive and bad service
