Australia's serial cougar caught out. She's the 37-year-old mum who dumped her 18- year-old husband to get engaged to a 16-year-old schoolboy. Now their parents want her stopped.

Yes, IMO. The woman is despicable, but if the children had been nurtured and steered in the right direction, these tragedies would not have occurred.

Hmm.... I think the woman is nuts myself.....

I don't think the parents are to blame, really, 16 yo's don't make good decisions sometimes... but their tastes are certainly lacking......

Honestly, if it was my son, I would not have gone to a current affairs program, nor been interviewed.

If it was my son, I would have handled it very differently. Its not for public gossip fodder, which will follow these young men for a long time.

I can only guess that the mother of the young boy was desperate after the police failed to do anything.

Unless we are in that position it's hard to know what lengths we would go to....especially under stress.

The woman involved has an agenda....I know of no young man / boy who would be even remotely interested in a woman like her, age aside. 16 year old hormonal boys have their eyes glued to models, pip up girls, pop stars etc. not an obsese woman of 37 who has no sex appeal at all. Even a grown man would walk past?

I feel sorry for the parents involved you can clearly see how heartbreaking it is for them , i do not believe they are at fault and can understand why they went to a current affairs

The woman imo is a predator, i for one can't see the attraction

The only hope the boys mum has is that he wakes up to himself and sees what is going on.

I'm so surprised that the police were informed and they just walked away and left him there. A teacher from my boys old school was jailed for messing around with a fifteen year old girl.

I can truly say that although my husband is much younger than myself, I have never had nor do have any interest in anyone else his age or younger. My attraction developed after he pursued me for several months. This woman seems to have a taste for younger males, not the actual person themselves IYKWIM.

And for those commenting about her size etc...I was very overweight (IMO) when my husband pursued me. There are plenty of males who are not shallow.

Trish, it makes no difference. He was a fifteen year old boy. A 37 year old woman should not be having sex with a fifteen year old. That's the law too isn't it?

I suppose she did seek him out when she picked him up from school.

I personally know (in law relative) a man who is in a relationship with a woman who is the mother of his best friend. It began when he was 16. (that they admit to) They have now been together for over 10 yrs, family have accepted it now but it was a big deal for a lot of years.

The difference here is that this woman already married an 18 yo.......now she has discarded him for a 16 yo

No it's not cool. I thought he was 16yo, which is the age of consent, legally. I am not condoning this at all. As I said I didn't watch the video, limited download at the moment.

Totally understand that. It is off.

Having said that, I was gobsmacked that my husband found me attractive at 92kgs. Perhaps that was poor self-image as a result of being made to feel ugly and fat for many years.

Anyway, I am off to have lunch with the poor guy now lol. Still don't understand how he finds me attractive, but apparently he still does.

What States/Territories are they in ? Don't some have restrictions or conditions to the age of consent ? ie; the other person can't be more than 2 years older or something like that ?

I would have thought that the text messages alone would (or should)have been enough for the Police to take some legal kind of action in the early stages ?

It's gross.They are playthings to her. Her 18 year old husband slept on the couch while this boy slept in her bed ?
