Weekly Photo Challenge. Theme is WEATHER

Every one is welcome. Please vote even if you don't post a picture.

RULES

1) you must have proprietary rights to the photo. If it was taken by someone other than you, please add a footnote/disclaimer

2) you may enter as many photos as you like

3) photos can be digitally enhanced

4) weekly winner is chosen by kudos votes

5) winner chooses the next weeks prompt/theme

6) winner announced Monday night 23rd December

7) include caption or description of photo to identify the Prompt (if it's not easily identifiable)

Storm clouds over the wheat stacks.

This is never a good thing. Although you can get a bit of rain on the wheat, too much will bugger it. Pulling those tarps down when the winds pick up is not much fun. Neither is walking through wet grain. All eyes watch the skies throughout the wheat harvest.

The purple man. He usually holds a round hay bale. Then the rains came. And didn't stop. Walgett was flooded and cut off. The wags on this property just on the outskirts of Walgett replaced the hay with a boat.

Wet Weather

The rain was ~~piddl~~ bucketing down the river was rising, but nothing was going to deter this Crimson wing parrot from his lunch.

Windy

The wind has got under the grain tarp and torn it. Not a dang thing we could do but stand back and watch. Men have been tossed in the air and badly hurt trying to hang on to hang on to these things.

800x600 is a good big size. If they are too big and you have to scroll they lose impact.

That was full size, dont know why its small, all my other pics have been bigger. I will try again later.
