opened a fresh jar of promite last night and i dont know the rightful place where to stick it

(its currently stored in the fridge)

wherever you have room. but it won't harden up and rip your bread if you store it in the cupboard.

Pantry, cupboard, shelf...not the fridge if it's a version of Vegemite.

i think the product is made by the same company who makes vegemite, slightly different brew

imo, it tastes better

I like my Vegemite in the cupboard, not the fridge...lasts and lasts and lasts

was searching for any instructions on the label last night but i had banrock googles on (btw a white wine that i totally recommend)

i can see now it says - store in a cool dry place. so icy, the fridge must be the go

Cool and dry can be the cupboard too, just so long as it doesn't get so hot in there it melts.

Like chocolate...that always says cool and dry.

Try the fridge, if it get's too hard, see which location you prefer for texture and taste.

But if it's like Vegemite it should be fine anywhere 🙂 you still have the choice label-wise.

Or it would say refridgerate after opening you see.

If you put it in the fridge, you will only be able to use it on bread on Sundays....

My rule for condiments:

check the label, if it says fridge after opening, there it goes

If it doesn't, I think about how hard it would be to use if it froze up

thats a good rule of thumb amber, if it states it should be stored in the refrigerator after opening then thats where it shoud go
