I worked 16 hours straight.

I still feel like a zombie.

But...I did make myself a martini as a present to me and I enjoyed it.

Christmas used to be a big in-laws family event but not so much anymore.

Only Damage here was my own doing....Too many vodkas and a family annual olympicsP2 do not mix...tired and a little sore today, and I still have family members here today

The day was perfect until I realised that I have lost my phone.
Had it before the taxi ride home, reckon I've got buckleys chance of it being returned.

À quiet day... had to drive OH to the airport at 4:45am so he could get to the Boxing day test ... he and our son are having a ball - 2 of over 91,000 spectators!

Braved the Boxing Day sales in Sydney CBD this afternoon. Spent most of the time trying to move up & down escalators, in and out of stores and getting across pedestrian intersections. Nice day weatherwise.

Most taxi drivers have a few -just waiting for them

to ring--will cost you another fee plus a tip.

Richo!!! We called them this morning to let them know but our taxi guy was on night shift.

But guess what !!! Just had a big toot out the front and there's a taxi in my drive

-got to work on the Sat morning and rang the no from a landline.

-phone answered--i asked -where are you norti phone.

It was one of the bestest xmas" we have had this year. I think it was because I didn't go crazy with roasting different meats and only did the Turkey. Everyone mentioned how much nicer this one was.

Boxing Day is always huge for me. This year it was extra huge.

Our twin grandaughters were born on Boxing Day and today they

turned 21. Lotsa fun, lotsa presents, lotsa reminiscing etc

So it's been a very tiring day for the family.

and all through the house

were empties and rubbish.

That's really not grouse.

People with headaches

and bilious kids

and parents whose finances just hit the skids.

We need to recover from jolly and gay,

but wait. More to come.

new hot water service died. which isn't good obviously.. also, almost half the parts for something i was not looking forward to assembling were missing when i opened up the boxes.. which wasn't so bad as there was no way i could continue building the thing .

I went to the sales, I bought new shoes for my poor aching feet, compliments of arthritis.............. and I have been hanging out for these shoes for months, $50 off! and a new ironing board. 🙂
