FEELING SORRY FOR MYSELF THREAD

Hi everyone - I am a widow and really miss my wife. I am lonely and retired and have very bad depression and self esteem.

Having said that, I am really fit and youthful looking for my age, I am pretty wealthy (I certainly couldn't spend the mountain of money I've amassed). And I have a lot of spare time to devote to a partner so all in all I make a pretty good catch.

If you want to learn how to have as bad self esteem as me, please contact me. 😞

Please twingrin, I have bad enough self esteem as it is, please don't insult my spelling. It's very difficult being this wealthy, handsome (well, I think so) and on the market. I am so depressed that I can't help point out attributes of my character, even though I'm the only want who sees me as well-off and good looking. We all agree I'm single and desperate. Twingrin, can you help me?

LOL, you are the worst advertiser for your loneliness. Who wants a man that bignotes himself? Whealthy, handsome, but not very intelligent or diplomatic.

I was a widow for six years and found a compatible partner without even looking for a relationship. I met an honest man on the Internet and friendship developed in to companionship, respect and trust. We got married 18 month later. I was 70 years old and my husband was 69. That was seven years ago and we still appreciate each other for the honest and caring people we are. None of us is whealthy or even pretends to be. Money can not buy you love, respect or loyalty.

Whingeing about loneliness and at the same time boosting one owns ego will not bring you anyone that is seriously looking for a true and lasting relationship. I don't even believe that you are real. Just a fantasy of your imagination.

I just hope that nobody else falls for your speel.

the thread was sardonic - for once amethyst has it right - I was channelling a thread from a week or two ago (it's since been removed) where a man claiming to be depressed with low self esteem kept ticking off what made him and his life so great.

Well, I guess when on doesn't have any original ideas of one's own, channelling somebody else's story is the next best thing to cut and pasting.

And proves the OP has no clue of just how depression, even mild clinic depression, affects those afflicted.

Let's hope for their sake they never find out how it works first hand, but if they do that they will not face similar ridicule as they, others like them, and the button pushers, enjoy handing out.
