Are April Fools Day jokes the same as lying? Not the pranks.... just the "I had an accident" type ones for example.

When I was young my brother and I ran into my parents bedroom and in a panicked state told my mum and dad the house was on fire...

the sun rising in the morning had a red glow that particular day and the whole house glowed... they believed us...

they were not impressed... 😐

Yes it is like lying...

all of my friends on facebook are saying they now like Julia Gillard...

I think they have gone too far on that one..

My ex showed just what an idiot he was last night. He texted me drunk at 12:33am saying "I am out the front of ur house have to tell u something important".

Bree had already woken from a nightmare about 20 mins before and I was trying to help her calm down, she saw the text and was convinced he had turned up to do something stupid like 18 months ago. She ran into her room to hide !

2 minutes later he texted "April Fools".

IDIOT !!!

Needless to say she wasn't convinced he wasn't here to do something stupid.

I always tended to think that the original day of the resurection must have fallen on April 1, but that fool joke has been going on, and on, and on, and on ever since 😞

Isn't it time someone owned up to telling that lie and being a body snachter in the first place? 😉
