Cowan trial

Why couldn't this man plead guilty, and spare the Morcombe family such pain. He led police to the area where he left the boy's body, but he pleads not guilty. I know that it is his right, but it is hard to accept.

It must be terribly hard for the family to sit through everything that has happened to their son, day after day.

Cowan will string it out as long as he can, he has no morals after what he did their son, so it would be asking too much for him to plead guilty.

He has no feeling, he has no idea what pain they are going through, and in my opinion, it is probably a game to him. Anyone who takes the life of a child, has no conscience.

I think he has an idea of what is going on and that is what turns him on.

Witnesses have said that there were two men seen with Daniel. Does anyone know if the second man has been arrested?

I don't think there was a second man, at least not at the bus stop. Police apparently knew about the person on trial immediately, because they went undercover straight away to infiltrate his group of friends.

There was only the one man mentioned yesterday at the bus stop.

I have no idea where I heard that there were two men, but I heard/read it somewhere.

One witness gave evidence that he saw 2 men in the car.

I think he has claimed innocence because there were 2 men, not sure if he may not be the actual killer either, perhaps it wasn't him who commited the act but had an accomplice?
