So I'm home alone and

a circuit breaker keeps kicking out leaving me without a telly amongst other things.

I have turned off everything that could possibly be on that circuit, thinking to turn things back on one at a time to see what is the culprit, but the circuit breaks just clicks out again immediately.

Any suggestions?

the lightts have their own circuit, as does the hot water, the stove, the shed, then there are two power circuits. One does half the house (fridge, mickey wave, pressure pumps) then there is this other circuit which has lamps, telly, kettle, tv and office type stuff.

No sign of any frogs

Yeah.. the trip (circuit breaker?) switch. If it flicks off it will just flick on again though, until the faulty appliance or whatever is identified and kept unplugged.

Like already mentioned you'd have to unplug everything and see if it still trips. If it still does you'd need an electrician....could be a fire hazard. Use an extension cord to the TV or computer.

If it does it's a bad breaker, or a shorted wire...defective outlet (I think you call them power points).

A grounded wire caused by rubbing something or something chewing on a wire....maybe in the attic. A squirrel maybe, lol.

You'd see this....

And if you look out the window you might see this too!.....

everything is unplugged and it's still tripping out

Pepe, that's NOT funny *cranky lookin*

although it does remind me of a story. My brother is mates with John and John did some tv ads for my brothers lawnmower, chainsaw shop.

After the filming was finished, some of the lads from the workshop got their photos taken with John holding chainsaws up to their necks and stuff, lol
