      <description>&lt;P&gt;no, they just have to be long enough to hang over the edge a bit, but not that long so when you do sit down you sit on the tablecloth or get it twisted on stuff and pull it off.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I was just looking at tablecloths and they said things like 8 seater or 12 seater.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have a 12 seater, but that counts the two chairs at the ends, so it might only be a 10 seater&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Measure your table with a tape measure and allow as much of an overhang as you want (the usual is 30 cms) and then look for the measurements given on the tablecloth you are looking to buy.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If it is in packaging it should give the actual measurements as well as how many place settings it is supposed to cater for.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;A 90cm square cloth is a breakfast or supper cloth, then there is a tea cloth....and so on up to a banquet cloth which is traditionally a 12 place setting size.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;With all the different sizes and shapes in tables today you really need to measure and get the closest size cloth.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
