Old Tupton Ware makers mark.

HELLO, CAN ANYONE LET ME KNOW WHETHER THE MAKERS MARK FOR OLD TUPTON WARE IS ALWAYS UNDER THE GLAZE PLEASE? I bought some with a rub off clear sticker saying Old Tupton Ware but I am not sure.

The piece I have is under the glaze and there is a gold foil sticker too.

Thank you everyone that has replied. Looks as though I've bought a dud! Anyone purchasing Old Tupton should check about the maker's mark before purchase.
