German Magazine Bild has published a picture of Kate Middleton's bare bottom which was exposed as her dress flew up after she alighted from a helicopter during her recent visit to the Blue Mountains in NSW:

German newspaper Bild features the shot on their website along with another picture of Kate in Canada in 2011 when her yellow Jenny Packham dress did exactly the same thing.

Both pictures were taken shortly after she disembarked from a helicopter, with the wind from the propellers causing her dress to blow up.

The photographs have sparked comments online about why Kate doesn't wear weights in her hems like the Queen to avoid future wardrobe mishaps.

One Twitter user wrote: "Why doesn't she weight her hems?"

for pity sake, she'd need a battleship weighting down some of the hems in those pleated dresses she wears to stop a helicopter wind from blowing them around.

Sheessh... at least she has a nice bottom, and probably wears g-strings!

she's wearing thong underwear,obviously. why shouldn't she,and why should she have to wear a dress with weights in it? she only MARRIED royalty,you know. besides the fact that that whole concept is just ridiculous anyway.

being born into a certain family doesn't make you anyone but a member of that family.

i grew up in massachusetts,where the kennedys lived. all they had was money and politics to make them"royalty",and it certainly didn't make them nice people.

why can't people just let these people be a nice young couple raising their child and having fun? the "prince" isn't ever going to control the world,or even england. geez... i just don't get it.
