It is HMVS Cerberus..........I just wondered if anyone recognized her..........I have been a contributor to "Save The Cerberus" for years, including finding a new photograph of her in a magazine that I sent to them. Here's another shot...........

You'd be amazed at the number of 'Strines who have no idea of the ship's history........

Good to know Band. I figured you were just sharing a memory. The photo challenge thread is for people to share their own photos. Yesterday I posted a picture of myself inside a huge metal tube. I realized (after I posted the pic) that I handed the camera to my sister to take of me, after I figured out the shot. duh... I didn't actually take the picture. I edited the photo out of the thread.

Your other photos fit the bill perfectly.

Band has been posting his own photos on the U.S. board for years. I can vouch for him.

Thanks TCM.

Unfortunately posting a photo by someone else puts the others images under suspicion as well.

I spent quite a bit of time last night searching for the images, and between the copywrite watermark, the HDR site collection, and comments in the other photograph thread I came to the conclusion that they are the legitimate work of Bandcamp.

And they are stunning. I love the old truck. I think I'll have a go at that HDR programme Goofy mentioned, it may improve some of my pics.

and just a reminder to posters to choose the LARGE option rather than FULLSIZE if they have large or long photos that need scrolling to view. Unless, of course, there is some aspect of the photo that needs to be viewed in fullsized.

Roserobin great photo of that war memorial - post 82 I think - what a stunning piece of work, and I just realized it's made of

metal birds. Peace doves? One of the most stunning memorials I have ever seen.
