Facebook goes down, users in shock without it

THE world’s popular social networking site of Facebook has gone down tonight across the world, leaving users unable to log in.

Users have hit Twitter to express their angst about the site being down, after they got this error message from Facebook.

It is not clear what is causing the outage yet.

Does make you wonder how the general population, or just yourself, would cope if facebook or twitter, or mobile phones just stopped. And didn't start up again. I don't use any of those much so but so many seem to rely on it.
