do your feet get hot too? or just your face?

Feet are so cold today that I reckon hot flashes in my feet sounds like a good thing.

I take evening primrose oil with vitamin B6 tablets and found they help.

Funny how no matter how cold it is, when a hot flush comes on you just CAN'T stay under the blankee!!!!

BUT

A hot water bottle at the bottom corner of the bed is essential for before and after a flush to warm your feet up with.

It's a biological fact that it's almost impossible to go to sleep with cold feet.

'when you get menopause' sounds like a disease haha

My flushes last 1 minute to five minutes, but seems like 1/2 hour

It's when you get them for maybe 2 minutes, but they keep on

coming every 15 minutes. Then they're a killer

I hope I'm past that now and only get them maybe 5 times a day/night now

I've heard women say everything from 2 to 10 years. My Aunt still gets them and she's 17 years older than me!

oh - I thought you just got flushed like in your face kind of thing and maybe spread down a bit - sort of like when you blush

didn't know it went everywhere

Hot flushes can last a few yrs, my girlfriend now in her late 60's still gets the odd one.

I didnt have many, infact I didnt have many symptons at all, and didnt take anything.

so does it feel like you have a fever all over your body kind of thing? Like you're burning up?

Does it make you dizzy like when you get overheated normally?

are you supposed to drink extra water to counteract it?
