My son went to the dentist the other day for the very first time and he said his teeth were really good.

He must be a good boy and look after himself well though Crystal? Mum taught him well ey 😉 (Not to be too personal) of course it's none of my business but surely we cant just give flouridation all the credit.

It is great he has no cavities though. Quite impressive 🙂

mine have never had any either, must be due to the fluoride in the water like everyone else is saying

Both my adult children are filling free and they grew up on rain water, no fluoride in that.

Have to agree with you Deb my teeth were full of fillings..hence I don`t have many left:-(

its great he has good teeth but i'm not so sure its a good idea to have never taken a child to the dentist for a check up before they turned 21 😕

The diet from birth could have a bearing on the strength of teeth and bones.

Also genes. Like a horsebuyer I should have checked the teeth and fetlocks of my ex. and his forebears. (OK I admit I should have checked more as well, seeing that we are ex-es).

Why would you go to the dentist, if there is no pain or noticeable crowding of the mouth?

because there could be hidden problems - a check up can catch early cavities etc.

Most primary schools have a free dental programme don't they? You could opt out if you wanted them to see a private dentist but it's a great idea.

You mean you have never ever taken your son to the dentist, even just for a check up or clean and scale?

And he's now an adult?
