When you do a press conference please do not speak to the people like they are 5 yr old children....

If "John" was a smart man yes he would pull his kids out of the Private school if his income dropped that far... He might have to sell his house and downsize... he might also have to sell his sports car that he can no longer afford....

It is not that smart to keep spending money you don't have... particularly if you can't guarantee how much income you will have in the future or if his manufacturing company might shut down because the "free market" makes imports so much cheaper..

Besides.. your income is up.... you are collecting tens of billions more in revenue this year than last year... you are SPENDING more than you are getting in but you are getting in more than ever before..... so don't call poor...

The Coalition warned this was going to happen and that you needed to plan for the future... but you accused them of fearmongering... well they were right and YOU were wrong... Are you going to say sorry???

federal tax revenue will be about $340bn in 2012-13, down from the forecast of $352bn last October but up about 7 per cent on tax revenue in 2011-12 of $316.8bn.

More money in... they are spending too much... live within your means... it is that simple...

This blind & deaf PM will never admit she & Swan got it so wrong. $12 billion down & counting. It's said that the budget black hole will go to $70 billion & counting.

Appalling waste incompetence & total misunderstanding of how a gov should manage a country. They've ruind this one & the electorate will never forget or forgive this useless lot.
