🙂

Karlia has a good point. Watching a lot of video clips can chew through your monthly data allowance (no. of GB's on your plan) a lot quicker than browsing/reading webpages.

I have just added the youtube app to my laptop, never used t before. I know that the app itself is free, but I have found some episodes of a tv show that someone has ploaded from their DVD collection.

Is there a fee for playing these shows? I can't see where there is any price indicated, but I don't want to get a whopper of a bill at the end of the month.

BTW the comments for the first show state that they have been uploaded from a DVD collection.

Hope this makes sense to someone because I am totally confused. Not hard I know!

They would be free if they are downloadable straight from youtube. Lots of people put prerecorded stuff on there just to share with others.

You can't be charged if you haven't entered any credit card numbers etc.

Sometimes you can get links to other websites come up, best to back out of that.

Jean, you shouldn't need an app.

Just search on "youtube what you want to see" and then select the video.

Using the app doesn't mean you pay to watch though, its the same as going to the youtube website direct. ( just added that so jean doesn't get confused).

I have the app on my mobile and ipad.

Others, such as Telstra, will send you a hefty account for anything you've used over your allowance.
