Yep we really need Cameron to tell us the bleeding obvious. The pathetic utterances by this hollow man have been seen for what they are, repeating the same slogans every day is not going to cut it for this social climber. Even his own collegues see through him but are powerless to help themselves after the Rudd/Gillard/Rudd catastrophe we were subjected to,. They destroyed themselves and nothing has improved.

Every major Poll says differenty. Shorten and the ALP look like taking government back after 1 term. Abbott will only get a small bounce from his little war .

You aren't taking into account the mess the CURRENT govt are making in this country. Who would vote for them? Uni students, aged pensioners, unemployed persons, disabled persons, women in the workforce who were promised paid parental leave, families...???

That is a ridiculous statement. NONE of the aged pensioners, uni students, women in paid workforce on high salaries expecting paid parental leave, families in Australia didn't vote for LNP in the last election. right.

The polls remain split on the electorate’s view of the federal government, with Newspoll showing the government gaining ground while the Roy Morgan poll shows Labor retains its commanding lead.

The Newspoll also found there was an improvement in the electorate’s view of Bill Shorten, with the Opposition Leader improving his personal rating and again slipping ahead of Prime Minister Tony Abbott as preferred PM.

.. a Roy Morgan poll showed little movement in its two-party preferred polling in the past fortnight, with Labor remaining well ahead at 54 per cent of the two-party preferred vote.

PREFERRED PM

The Newspoll, conducted after he revealed he had been cleared of rape allegations last week, found the electorate’s view of Mr Shorten had improved.

Mr Shorten regained the lead as preferred prime minister, with 40 per cent of voters favouring him (up three points), compared with 39 per cent favouring Mr Abbott (down two points).

Mr Shorten’s personal rating also improved, with voters split on his performance – 40 per cent of voters disapproved of his performance (down four points) and 39 per cent approved (up three points).

Mr Abbott’s personal rating continued to be negative overall, with 55 per cent of voters disapproving of his performance (up one point) compared with 36 per cent approving (no change).

THE NSW Liberal Party has lost its ninth MP to a scandal over illegal donations from developers.

Bart Bassett announced this afternoon he would stand down from the Liberal Party following hearings of the Independent Commission Against Corruption.

My prediction is that if the ALP win the next election, it won't be with Mr Shorten at the helm.
