Lion you can edit if you post an overlarge pic, I do it often.:) You only have minutes to do it though. Just backspace the pic, and try again with a smaller option.

I will do that sin. She will be in town on Saturday.

Her partner works in town on Wednesdays and Saturdays. They stay here Tuesday nights because early start.

On Saturdays they do the 'breakfast run'. He texts me from what we call the eight mile and I put the bacon and eggs on. By the time they are out the front his b&e roll is ready and she drops him at work, Then Desi and she come back and have theirs with my brother and I.

thank you! i like that,"the eight mile",lol! i'll tell my stepbrother to do that. he's a trucker,pops in every few months,and calls from a town about 60 miles away to see if i can feed him and his wife. like i'd say no,lol! gives me time to get food hot for them,though,he'll get a kick out this. 🙂

Settle down greencat. The rule has been in place since day one. Sometimes we forget and I've done it myself. Lealta is ok with it I think.

As I said on the photo thread the rules apply to all.

My horse snot in the macro was taken by Channy with my camera. I still got told and it was disqualified.

I didn't purposely cheat, however thems the rules and I truly believe it has to be for all or none.

It's not a new rule, it is easily done in the excitement of trying to meet the challenge. It's been done before and will no doubt happen again. I truly hope Lealta will continue to enter the comps.

It's happened quite a lot and isn't really a big deal. Usually the person doing the tally will not count the photo that has obviously been taken by someone else. If the thread host is unsure about a photo they will message the contributor and ask.

Perhaps posters who have concerns about a photo should contact the thread host rather than messaging the poster.

We don'thave many rules/conditions greencat, but that's the main one - photo must be own work.

Which doesn't mean posters are deliberating trying to avoid that rule when they post a photo of themselves (it has been done before in the challenge).

They just see the photo as a good one to suit the theme, and don't put 1 + 1 together (that photo is of me so I didn't take it).

I think I posted a photo of myself in the snow in one of the early challenges and didn't think about it till later after the challenge had ended. It didn't have high kudo's so not affecting anyone elses win.

The photo (not posters own) can just be left out of the tally at the end of the week for winner/runners up.

I know, sorry about Wally, but his time is done anyway, and when you really think about it my Wally photo's (apart from the wallet itself) are not taken by me, I use background images all the time from the net, or someone elses album to fit the theme.

I have very little time on my hands latley but usually try to come in here at least a couple times a week coz it is was fun, but not so much anymore.

Cheers for starting the theme pimpy, awesome idea and hope it continues to go well for everyone.

gc, It is not pettyness it would open a can of worms if there were different strokes for different folks, or if the rule was dropped the fun photo for amatuers thread would become the who searched the net the most thoroughly this week thread.
