Sony or Nikon or canon are all good brands but I can't recommend any as I'm more into the semi pro range.
I would also recommend using smug mug over photo bucket

I need a new camera. I've never used icloud and I save and manage all my photo albums in Photobucket. If I buy a camera with built in wifi will I be able to upload photos directly from my camera to Photobucket.

And what camera do you experts recommend - I don't want to spend more than about $250.

I have never used PB - I save all my photo's in a file on my desktop (or my documents).

Don't mind admitting iCloud confuses me, so I like to have control of what I post and when I post it.

Use watermarks for any original shots you may want to share as once they are uploaded they really are available for anyone with a little p/shop experience to do what they want with them.

I find it easier to use than photo bucket a little more based towards professional side buck you don't need to use it as such
