It's a rotten conspiracy

For the past hour we have been in a very strong electrical storm cell.
Tonight is my best TV night and these cells always seem to come then. Not one functioning Tele channel.
My OH is about to get thumped, his solution is for me to either bake him some cakes or do something else which does not need tv.
He has no chance on either score.
Just having a whinge.

How annoying.

It is best to unplug TV, computers etc in electrical storms.

You can use anything mobile like a tablet or laptop though 🙂 that could be a way to watch some TV.

Which reminds me I have something to watch on iView.

My laptop has a dead battery, has to be connected to the power.. nuisance in thunderstorms.

the storms here took out the power as well as prime and some other channels.

I'm just charging up my lappy and ebook, then I'll go to bed and read. They say the power may not be restored until tomorrow when they can get the choppers out to check the lines

Yes, but it seems to be a regular event! So there might be something to catch up on...

my laptop too. iPad's not bad for iView 🙂

Yes, the thunderstorms have been regular lately. 15yo boy killed by lightning on the beach and a woman struck by lightning today, treated for shock & minor burns. Planes and trains delayed.

Savage wind and electrical storms on the Central Coast. Have similar problems with poor reception......with my favourite night of TV.

Alternate activities are off the radar too.

I have about 30 - a lot brand new in factory packaging- high end, jig-saw puzzles if anyone's interested. Do many peeps do these any more? At least they don't need a power source.
