No I haven't met him I had more important things to do like shopping, but we did walk past him and his minder having coffee on the footpath outside a coffee shop in Burleigh Heads.

I am interested In if peoples opinions of him are from personal knowlede or from what they have seen in the press.

The great unwashed don't get to met Abbott (unless they are members of the LNP). They might ask 'tricky' questions. he doesn't want to answer - um er and and and um ah

He came to our area before the election spoke to an invited number of LNP members at a hall (general members of the public not allowed to attend).

Then what happened later? Speedo sold to an overseas country and no longer manufactured in Australia?

For some of us who live in the ACT are either fortunate or unfortunate to meet the politicians on a regular basis.
