Junior MasterChef Contestant's Sexist Comment.

A young, budding MasterChef contestant has caused way too much heat in the kitchen with a sexist remark.

Victor Beltrán, one of the stars of Spain’s Junior MasterChef, dropped the clanger in front of 3.2 million viewers.

The 12-year-old stated girls were genetically better at cleaning than boys after being asked to wipe down the stoves, The Guardian reports.

“My goodness, I’m surrounded by girls, and girls already know how to clean because of genetics,” he said.

It's the multi tasking that women go on about that they are so good at.

Clean, Cook, barefoot, pregnant and wash up all at the same time !

It's pretty sad that someone so young already has that attitude. It will be even sadder if he is held up to public ridicule because of it.

My post was directed at Icy as a bit of a joke knowing I'd get a bite from my friend,

if I had made it a generic comment I would have had to leave the country

Why is his Mother to Blame does he not have FATHER, why is the mother always to blame.

I would have made his FATHER clean the whole kitchen and show the boy how it is done 🙂

Instead she watched horrified as her son Victor told the show’s 3.2 million viewers across the country that women instinctively know how to clean, thanks to genetics. “My mouth dropped open when I heard it,” she said. “It’s not at all what we live in our house. My husband and I share the chores 100% and we’ve always stressed equality to our children.”

She pointed to the high-pressure atmosphere of the reality show. “The comments are unfortunate, but he’s a 12-year-old child who was in the middle of a challenge, under a lot of pressure and not aware of what he was saying.”

The producers probably scripted it for him.
