Oh wow, how exciting! Thank you everyone who liked my OH's kind face and voted.

I actually thought flashie had it in the bag - such a gorgeous photo which gave me a giggle.

Now, if I'm correct, I now have to think of a new subject. I'll see what pimpy thinks.

I had to change to my Kelso id to do the thread because I didn't have any room for photos left in my gallery, so I couldn't post the winning photos.

IT is a sad looking potato. Maybe she is going to plant it.

I didn't really get the significance of the spud until I was going through doing the thread tally and then it hit me, (yeah, yeah, not the brightest crayon in the box) The Great Potato Famine of the 1800's. Over 1 million people died because they couldn't live without the potato.

i didn't think of ireland when i posted it.

potatoes are the main staple in germany and the biggest immigrant group the turks call the native germans potatoes. it's an insult like calling someone a wog or abbo or a g o o k.
