I think that explains it.

The site also says quoting a Cardinal who is a lifelong friend of Pope Francis.

One thing I would like to know, If you believe the bible, god said go forth and Multiply, he did not say every one multiply but Priest and Nuns.

It's not a requirement that you do................... it's a choice.

Popes don't actually get to make the rules willy nilly..................... it's a bigger process that that.

As for the rules about divorce etc, I am pleased they are looking at that still.

It's time for change.

That's what Vatican II was about.

I heard a discussion eons ago with some Canadian (Catholic) nuns who had researched and found that 2 popes in the distant past had been women pretending to be men.

Well good for him. I'm not surprised, he has very liberal views. Only thing is he has to battle the old cardinals with their antiquated ideas who have so much power.
