Lost cat help, please.

One of my cats has been missing since Friday and I was wondering what else I could do to find her. So far, a letterbox drop has been done; the animal shelters notified as well as the local vets; the house checked inside and out; under the house checked; name called at various times of the day and night. I last saw her late Friday afternoon. A neighbour saw her late that night and he said that when she saw him, she bolted across the road. Any suggestions as to what else I could do? I've run out of ideas, other than to wait.

Facebook can be a useful resource - there are Lost&Found pet pages, local resource/commumity groups, even sharing with your circle of FB friends. Of course it's only useful if you have a FB account.

Maybe a few strategically placed posters on power poles/bus shelters ?

I've done social media and power poles but not the bus shelter. I'm hoping that she got a fright and is hiding somewhere and that she gets hungry enough to find her way home. She's a gorgeous little cat. I am so worried.

BC my daughter's cat disappeared one day. She suspected a tradesman

working across the road took a liking to him. She mourned after looking

high and low for him.

5 months later the Lort Smith Animal Hospital rang. He was found on the other

side of Melbourne, but he was microchipped. He was in good condition, so

that tradesman must have stolen him and he bolted at the first opportunity.

Settled in back at home like he'd never been gone.

Miracles do happen

also look for community noticeboards in your local shopping centre even most coles and woolies have one now. (normally where the trollies are) She is a pretty little thing, I hope you find her

Thanks, everyone. Yes, she is one of those bengals. She is quite shy and is unlikely to get close enough for anyone to catch her. I haven't given up hope.

A lady just rang but it was a false alarm - not my cat.

Sorry your kitty is missing, on f/book if you type in the name of one animal shelter other ones come up, I found this out this morning. there are alot of animal places that I had never heard of, so for instance type in Forever Friends Animal Rescue, have a look there and other places will pop up.

Put a pic and notice in local vet or other vets around the place near you.

Contact RSPCA and Coldstream Animal Rescue.

Ask neighbours to look in their work sheds, garages, kitty could be locked in one of these.

I'm writing a list. A friend is coming over to tomorrow to help look for her - she used to be her cat and she once went missing for a couple of days. She was found curled up in a tyre. There are so many places that she could be hiding. Fortunately, we live on a quiet street. I checked the local roads to see if she had been hit by a car - bengals have no road sense - but there was no sign of her.

Blue cat do you have local buy and sell site, I notice here in Nz a lot of pets have been found through my local site.

Oh no Blue, I hope she turns up soon. Is she micro chipped? The only other thing I can think of is putting Lost notice in the local paper

Blue, what about ringing your council and asking them if they've picked up any cats.
