I just opened the roll of curtain material I bought and the first thing I see is the care label that says

KEEP OUT OF DIRECT SUNLIGHT

HaHa lurker--the material was made for the Latrobe Valley.

Here-what sun we get is filtered through the smog etc

from 4 coal fired power stations and a paper mill..........................Richo.

I had new curtains made for 4 bedrooms. The bedroom that was on the shady side of the house the curtains faded most in a fairly short time span. They were a different fabric than the other bedroom curtains.

It only applies during daylight saving when there's that extra hour of sunlight.
