The MRI shows I have 2 tears in my hip cartilage, so now we know what the pain is from.

Has anyone had surgery to rectify this problem and how did it all go? Or did you over come the pain by building up muscle around the area as some have done? I am reluctant to have surgery.

No I haven't twinkles but I'd be wanting a whole heap more information before

deciding on surgery. Maybe tears like that would heal with the right exercise, I don't know,

but a good physio could advise you.

Hope someone who's experienced this can help you better.

After now being able to read the MRI report I am very disappointed that the specialist didn't tell me everything.....there is also a cyst and some other unpronounceable issues.

I will seek a second opinion and see my osteo.
