I'm a total goose.

I went nuts in the garden this afternoon and pulled up a large garden bed of weeds.
I got to the end and noticed a small coloured sign.
The penny dropped.
I had carefully planted a lot of seeds about 2 months ago and was keenly waiting for their appearance and then promptly forgot that they were there.
Now they are in the green waste and I feel gutted.
Now I know how it feels to be an idiot. 😡😫😰😁

Now that's what I call a senior moment.

Maybe you can find some seedlings at your local nursery to replace them.

Don't feel so bad, it happens all the time. My spring bulbs were just coming up one year and the ex came along with the weed spray.

I totally forgot that I had planted seaside daisy seedlings recently but thank goodness the weather was kind to them and they have survived so far.

Mr. Tas and I were looking after a small garden for some friends a few years ago while they went to the mainland.

We "helpfully" weeded their garden for them, to find out later, that they were missing their lettuces, radishes, bok choy and other assorted vegetable seedlings they had just planted before leaving ......

Back in the depression days in WA-one of my elderly rellies was

lucky to get a job as a helper at a golf course.

Spent the first day ..mumbling and trying to fill in a man made bunker
