It's about as true as "poor people don't drive cars" or the second version which was "poor people don't drive cars very far" 🙂

What was it he said today about getting a "good" job if you want to buy a house?

you have to wonder what reality he is living in.....it's not the one the rest of us are in

Can't believe it. It was just on the news. "If you want to buy a house, first you have to get a good-paying job". What a bleep.

Back to fishing DH, and getting some bites!

Gosh the are flying today, but it would appear awarded to reporting by Myopic or possibly deaf media, or as is often practiced. selective quotes, because in the same sentence/breath Hockey continued :

"If you've got a good job and it pays good money and you have security in relation to that job, then you can go to the bank and you can borrow money and that's readily affordable."

Not so juicy to jump up and down about, like the first part of the sentence. It is a little like another Hockey comment: "poor people don't own cars or don't drive very far" , also a perfectly valid statement (research quintile car ownership) or are MYOPS really pretending to be so precious.

I must try this , grab an image and then attach a label that satisfies a political bias:

A RISE IN TAX RATES WON"T UNFAIRLY AFFECT POOR PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY PAY VERY LITTLE

Or:

A RISE IN WELFARE BENEFITS WON"T AFFECT RICH PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY RECEIVE VERY LITTLE

Oh dear no for myself DH

But wait, why the enthusiasm for this:

The post was addressed in that it "criticised" its lets find a picture and then stick a "political" comment on it to one's liking (bias) by presenting a like style, but opposite bias.

Or is it another _Captain's rule?

But why is he being misquoted?
The media take it all out of context to make a buck or two, then the ill-informed public run wild with it over social media.

Here's a thought... just putting it out there.....Why dont you just QUOTE him! you know, get the FULL STORY with the REAL FACTS!
